Expansive Project for Hellevoetsluis

Hellevoetsluis, in the southwest of the country, has always had a close connection with water. Once a major port and home to the Dutch fleet, it is now the largest water sports center in the Netherlands and home to many commuters working in Europoort and Rotterdam. For Christmas MK Illuminations design concept embraced the expansive outdoor and indoor areas of the Struytse Hoeck shopping center in its design concept. Four central squares linked by garlands festooned with Christmas balls featured distinctive motifs, Little Golden Teddy; the snowmen, Hugo, Harry and Herby; and a Santa Chair. All of these were firm favorites for capturing that memorable moment with camera or camera phone.
