MK Themed Attractions is a new division of MK Illumination that specializes in complete concept lighting, theming and prop solutions, and can also provide amusement ride lighting by drawing on our expertise in this area from our global network.
Opened in 2007, Galleria Porta Di Roma is one of the newest shopping centres in Europe and the largest in Italy, attracting more than 13 million visitors every year. The theme was represented by the word ‘Together’ being projected in lights in many languages on to the exterior of the building. This was complemented by a large contemporary Christmas tree that was constructed using large Meridian ball motifs in the same colours as the rainbow peace flag of Italy. This colourful concept was extended throughout the indoor malls and out- door areas of the centre.
