Fünf Höfe

The Shopping mall Fünf Höfe (English: Five Courtyards) in the center of Munich is an upmarket shopping center that boasts a mix of luxury brands, smart restaurants and pubs, and cultural events held in its Hypo-Kunsthalle, a space that hosts temporary art and artist exhibitions.

The center is well-known for its world-class elegance and stylish design, so their Christmas lighting and decoration needed to both complement the existing architecture and make a festive statement that would impress and engage visitors.

The resulting star-inspired holiday lighting combined warm white light with touches of brilliant white light for contrast, creating a canopy of lights that flowed high above visitors’ heads and that seamlessly connected indoor and outdoor spaces.

One of the highlights of the lighting was a custom-designed photo point that featured a pair of glittering angel wings waiting for an angel. Visitors could stand atop the branded platform and be transformed into a angel in a photo, with the result that many thousands of Fünf Höfe Angels appeared on social media and many more commenting on the fun.
