Korneuburg’s Christmas market becomes a real eye-catcher

Over the past few years, we have helped the city community of Korneuburg illuminate their public spaces with lantern motifs and light canopies. In 2019, the focus was on the Christmas market. The goal? To use light to make it even more atmospheric and attractive to visitors than ever before.

To help Korneuburg achieve their goal, we used light-filled green garlands to decorate each of the market’s entrances, which looked festive by night and also created a holiday atmosphere during the day. A large tree within the Christmas market swapped its summer leaves for 27 Organic balls of varying sizes, all filled with light, and market’s Christmas tree was transformed into a sparkling attraction with lights and decoration from MK Illumination.

Thanks to the additional light, the Christmas market had extra “wow factor” this year. Coupled with the over-head canopies of lights that appear throughout the town that sparkle with over 10,800 LED light points to create a starry sky effect, we can safely say that Korneuburg festive atmosphere appealed to residents and visitors alike.
