Mahon Point Shopping Center 2018/2019

Cork’s Mahon Point wanted to refresh their festive lighting and décor over the 2018/2019 festive season and the result was a glittering pink-and-gold  fashion-inspired display. Over-sized stiletto shoes, handbags, and perfume bottles sparkled overhead amidst strings of lights and PVC foil fashion motif cut-outs. A giant walk-through  Christmas tree was a particular highlight, especially with smaller shoppers who raced through the walk-way, only to be stopped in their tracks when they found themselves surrounded by pink light and glitter-encrusted handbags!

The center’s 6.5 meter reindeer, a popular feature in previous years, made an appearance too, this time standing proudly in the open air. As always, the center’s Santa’s Grotto was well attended, with Santa getting up to some mischief after hours at the center…
