For the Christmas season, bright stars – oversized and in 3D – granted all their radiant power to Mahon Point, the biggest luxury shopping mall in Cork, Ireland. Long famous, Mahon Point caters to an average 110,000 visitors per week throughout the year. The 340,000 square meters of high Quality shopping space was used to stage a true Christmas experience. The oldest Symbol of peace, light and prominence – the star – shone here with gold foil light in various, customized 3D fibreglass varieties, and provided a unique atmosphere. In cooperation with ‘Creation Group’, a detailed Santa Claus residence was installed in classic New England style, which ably offered animated characters as well as all kinds of music and dance events for a generously sized audience. ‘Family Fun for Free’ was the happy Christmas message.
