Westfield London is Europe’s largest shopping center with an annual footfall of more than 27 million visitors and a retail floor area of 150,000 m². To celebrate their 2018 expansion and their 10th anniversary, they decided to refresh and extend their holiday lighting and décor in a way that would resonate with their diverse and often international audience.
The end result was unique and contemporary. An astonishing 2kms of striking façade and outdoor lighting turned the center into a winter beacon. Indoors, a combination of animated chandeliers — featuring over 2000 balls of animated light— became highlights throughout Westfield London, and structural elements like internal support added a warm, festive glow to the center thanks to the use of warm white string lights.
Both Westfield London and visitors were delighted with the end result.
