Goodbye Christmas, Hello Christmasworld

As January begins, most people who celebrate Christmas heave a sigh of relief and tell themselves that it’s all over for another year. Here at MK Illumination, we go straight from Christmas to… Christmasworld.

Whilst you’re putting away your decorations, we’re putting the finishing touches on innovative creative concepts and the best in design-oriented festive lighting displays. Whilst you’re putting away your trusty “Jingle Bells” CD, we’re brushing up on the words to Silent Night as we head to Frankfurt. And whilst you’re working hard to stick to your new year’s resolutions, we’re thinking about how we can help our clients plan festive lighting well in advance of one of the busiest times of the year.

If you’ve not worked with us in the past, you may well be looking at your screen and thinking “Huh? There’s a Christmasworld?!” If you’re nodding in agreement, rest assured that you’re not the only person who has no idea what we’re talking about.

So what is Christmasworld?

Christmasworld is an international B2B trade fair for seasonal and festive decorations. Businesses come to the fair to get inspiration, see the latest trends, talk to experts and do business with over 1000 exhibitors from 42 countries.

 

Why does MK Illumination exhibit at Christmasworld?

From MK Illumination’s perspective, Christmasworld is an opportunity for us to shine (pardon the pun), because year after year, we come to the trade fair with extraordinary design concepts and bold, new products that our clients can use to infuse their cities with emotion and create multi-sensory experiences that attract visitors and celebrate festive events throughout the year.

Why do businesses come to Christmasworld specifically to see MK Illumination?

You’ve probably guessed part of the answer because we’ve mentioned it above: extraordinary design concepts and innovative products. But that doesn’t quite cover it.

MK Illumination is much more than a festive lighting company. We have a multidisciplinary team and we not only design and manufacture our own lighting products, but we custom-design unique festive lighting experiences; manufacture and hand-finish bespoke products; and deliver, install and maintain virtual worlds and interactive experiences crafted with light. When it comes to festive lighting, we truly are the experts, a one-stop shop for our shopping center, city and leisure attraction clients.

This year, MK Illumination will once again be at Christmasworld, this time with multiple design-oriented lighting experiences instead of only one. Every year, our creative director and design team work wonders, and 2018 is no different. Our theme this year is “Cheer up!”, so expect an abundance of happiness tools and good vibes.
