Hückelhoven’s light park, Haldenzauber, returned for its second year with even more motifs, light points and light experiences for visitors to enjoy in the winter months.
The popular Magical Forest of Animals returned, and was joined by many new light art, installations and interactive activities. A brand new “Ice Forest” invited visitors to strike bells to change the color of a giant ice sculpture, a heart-filled tree was illuminated by sound, and the “Sounds of the Stars” sound-to-light show lit up the evening sky for a full hour each night.
Over 50,000 visitors enjoyed the light park in 2020, and rave reviews in the local press as well as online have ensure that the light park will be back in 2021 with more experiential displays.
