We started working with Noah from MK Illumination Australia to customise a concept design that tells the story of Christmas in Ballarat in 2024, creating an unforgettable experience for our local community. The installations were easy to assemble, and we received detailed engineering and installation manuals, allowing our team to bring the vision to life. Live floral elements were incorporated into the design, and the decorations captured a traditional Christmas theme with both day and night appeal. We wanted to collaborate with a creative, artistic company that prioritises sustainability, and MK Australia delivered on all fronts. We now have beautiful, long-lasting assets that will light up Christmas in Ballarat for years to come.
Our partnership with MK Illumination began in 2017 during my time as General Manager at Al Futtaim’s Doha Festival City. Since then, we've collaborated on year-round festive decorations that created unforgettable visitor experiences. Even after relocating to Sydney, the partnership continued. The Christmas decorations at Macarthur Square’s Kellicar Lane outdoor area were hailed as one of Sydney's best displays—drawing crowds and spreading joy throughout the season. As someone passionate about creating memorable spaces, I can attest to MK Illumination's unmatched quality in design, products, and service. With the 'Summer Love' installation, they've once again blended the magic of Christmas with the warmth of summer to create something truly extraordinary.
