When the joys of travel are accompanied by a festive atmosphere!

Christmas spirit in the most beautiful light

Inspired by the architecture of the airport's four terminal halls, we developed an inviting lighting design concept. It comprised several lighting and decoration modules that gave the entrances to the halls a festive glow. Brilliant light frames on the facades were also intended to create a pleasant atmosphere for arriving and departing passengers. The lighting concept for the 2014 Christmas season included MK's classic String Lites, Magic String Lites and Drape Lites. Products that undoubtedly enveloped the airport in an inviting, warm Christmas atmosphere. Light effects of falling snowflakes on a wall in Terminal 2 also created a wintery Christmas atmosphere.

MK Illumination created festive Christmas lighting for the first time in 2014 for Frankfurt Airport, one of the busiest and busiest hub airports in mainland Europe.
