At Bern station, a Christmas glow of lights creates a contemplative atmosphere during the Advent season.

MK Illumination Switzerland has installed a very special lighting experience in the main hall. A 9 meter high chandelier with a diameter of 5.5 meters and a weight of 1,500 kilograms shines there. It consists of 600 fairy lights with 38,000 warm white LED lights arranged in the form of a helix.

The lighting installation shortens the wait for travelers at the station in the dark season and demonstrably extends the length of their stay.
