A welcoming atmosphere and fantastic memories!

Schultheiss Quartier is Berlin's newest shopping centre, located in Moabit in Berlin Mitte. The shopping centre opened in 2018 after a three-year development project with a sales area of 30,000 m². During the planning of the Schultheiss Quartier, great importance was attached to ensuring that the historic brick ensemble of the former Schultheiss brewery, which has been a listed building since 1995, was not only preserved, but also played a key role in shaping the perception of the district. 

When MK Illumination was asked to come up with ideas for a festive lighting and decoration concept, it was obvious that the theme should be continued. The resulting concept included both traditional and contemporary motifs in rich shades of red, interspersed with warm white lights and lush greenery to create a festive atmosphere.

MK Illumination's Organic range of 3D gift-wrapped light designs complemented the rustic design elements of the mall, while the façade lighting welcomed pedestrians and motorists alike. The festive spirit continued outside in one of the centre's plazas. A giant Christmas tree, glittering in gold and red, added to the festive atmosphere.
